== THIS WEEK ==
March 24th - Catholic and Anglican Easter
April 27th - Orthodox Easter
March 30th - UNORTHODOX Easter
The BUNNY STROLL BOUNCES BACK. As you no doubt noticed, last week's
traditional celebrations of spring were somewhat cancelled by
hailstorms and a thin layer of snow. So we're doing it again this
weekend: March 30th is the NOT-THE-EASTER-SUNDAY FANCY DRESS BUNNY
STROLL, to be followed by the Egg & Spoon race and whatever else we can
squeeze in.
Get your COSTUMES, if you haven't, from the Vic from midday onwards.
Please note that this weekend the clocks go forward too. Yes, it's
British Summer(sic) Time - so if you turn up for the Stroll and find
nobody there it might not have been cancelled, it might just be
because you're an hour late.

The FRIDAY NIGHT SKATE is also, appropriately enough, a rerun:
Markus's loop though Camden Town, St John's Wood, and Little Venice
before a final stretch down Park Lane was first attempted back in
January, but we're having another go at it.

== ROLL ON WEDNESDAYS ==
Our sworn enemies the infidel heretic LONDONSKATE, with whom we are
engaged in a self-destructive and ultimately completely pointless war
of attrition, have relaunched their new web site in preparation for
the start of the Londonskate season, and it looks a bit spiffy. The
first Londonskate of the year is WEDNESDAY 16th APRIL, and it's going
to Camden, so mark your diaries.

P.S. The first two clauses of the previous paragraph employ a literary
device often known as "sarcasm". Don't believe everything you hear.
== TRENCH WARFARE ==
A short note to say look out for the gaps in the cycle path through
Hyde Park that runs north/south between Speakers Corner and Hyde Park
Corner. Slits have been carefully cut across the path adjacent to
each lamppost, in such a way that you might even mistake them for
shadows cast by said lampposts if only there was actually enough light
for any shadows to be cast anywhere.
We think this is more likely to be another step towards getting the
lights to actually light anything than it is a traffic calming
measure - so probably a good thing in the long run - but in the
meantime watch out.
== LONDON INLINE MARATHON ==
Registration fees for the London Inline Marathon go up this weekend:
make sure you register before 1st April to get in at the £20 rate. The
entry fee includes timing, use of the water station and a
t-shirt.

That's all folks. If you have comments, send them c/o the web site.
