We apologise for the late arrival of this newsletter. This was caused
by the wrong kind of slow on the line.
== THIS WEEK ==
On FRIDAY the weekend starts in style as the LFNS visits a few old
friends plus a new acquaintance. First, our 12 mile route will test
some freshly resurfaced roads near Lambeth Palace before heading north
of the river for half time with old friend number 1 at trendy Hoxton
Square. Still more excitement is promised for the second half as we
race down friend number 2, that old favourite that is Pentonville
Rise. Music by a 'toon too far' will be pumped by the FireBrox, our
very own muscle bike, ridden by Jim, our very own muscle man.

And a slightly circuitous route for this weeks SUNDAY
STROLL. Hopefully we won't get too dizzy spiralling East to Embankment
for half time, before circling round and hitting Whitehall and
Victoria on our way back.

== LAST WEEK ==
Too much weather meant last Friday's Best Of London skate was
cancelled before it began. We'll reschedule this route for another
week soon - watch this space.
SUNDAY: Camden Town Ain't Burning Daaarn - we checked. Christian took
us on a swift route inspired by our very own Grammy award winning Amy
Winehouse. And it was our turn to be in the papers as we were met by
local journalists and photographers at half time. Many thanks to all
the posers...er, sorry...skaters who helped us to promote the Easter
Skate by wheeeeling down the road and smiling for the camera.

== BREAD-FREE FREEWHEEL ==
The Mayor of London announced on Wednesday that London Freewheel 2008
is on!". Either my email is late arriving (not the only ting that's
late around here) or Ken is behind the curve here, because Week on
Wheels announced that already last week. Anyway, registration is now
open. You could just turn up on the day, as so many did last year, but
if it's like last year then filling in your details gets you a bell
and a fetching red bib and tells them how many sandwiches to make.
Or not. There's no mention of Hovis on the web site this year, so
maybe there really is no such thing as a free lunch.

According to the Terms and Conditions, "All riders must be reasonably
fit". Which is great news if it turns out to be true.
== BUNNIES WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE ==
Ok, preferably alive. Easter is fast approaching and if you simply
cannot wait to get into costume then why not dress up early? We are
looking for volunteers to hand out flyers in costume to promote our
Easter Eggstravaganza weekend, which will all be very exciting
indeed. So anyone who turns up to the Sunday Stroll in bunny regalia
to help out will receive much Kudos (and possibly a free carrot!)
